Recently, I have noticed several
prominent artists posting original oil and charcoal studies on their
websites, blogs and Facebook pages at priced at very affordable
prices. This allows most people to purchase an original painting by
and artist the otherwise not be able to afford. I gave this some
thought and realized what a good idea this was. People who enjoyed an
artists work could now acquire one at very reasonable prices on
pieces that are unlikely to be seen in galleries.
I have decided that since my physical
situation at this time is not conducive to my getting out in either
the mountains or desert and especially in the Arizona summertime, I
enjoy painting small paintings as a diversion from my larger
landscapes, I would offer finished, ready to frame miniatures at a
very affordable price. The first still lifes and florals are shown
